Andrey Klemm Andrey Klemm is Professor at the Opéra National de Paris with a Russian background. Born in Moscow in 1967, he studied at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow with Professor Alexander Bondarenko. He graduated in 1985 with special distinction (red diploma). The same year, at the invitation of director Natalia Kasatkina and Vladimir Vasiliov, he began his career as a dancer at the Moscow Classical Ballet as a soloist until 1994. During this period, he was taught by master teacher Naum Azarin-Messerer. Between 1992 and 1994, he studied to be a dance teacher at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS). From 1994 to 1997, he was engaged as a dancer at the Bonn Opera House (Oper der Stadt Bonn), with Valery Panov as director. From 1996, he began teaching masterclasses in the United States (New York, Chicago, Detroit, etc.).

At the same time, between 2001 and 2006, he successfully completed professorship studies at the Natalia Nesterova University of Moscow, with Professor Anatoly Borzov. In 2007, he was appointed ballet professor at the Opéra national de Paris.

He is also a regular guest teacher, among others, at the Bolshoi Theater, Stuttgart Ballet, the Saxon State Opera in Dresden, Düsseldorf Opera House, the Dutch National Opera, the New National Theatre in Tokyo, the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera House in London, and the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. His repertoire includes ballets by Marius Petipa, Lev Ivanov, Natalia Kasatkina, Vladimir Vassiliev, Pierre Lacotte, Valery Panov, Yuri Vamos, George Balanchine, Maurice Bejart, Rudolf Nureyev, Roland Petit, Kenneth McMillan, Alberto Alonso, Patrice Bart, William Forsythe, Vladimir Vasilyov, Vladimir Malachov, John Neumeier and Mats Ek.

Mysensei mentors are the world’s top coaches, ballet masters, teachers, and professional ballet dancers.

You can book any type of a dance class your mentor offers, e.g., ballet conditioning, ballet class, coaching, pilates. If you don’t see the type of a ballet class listed in your mentor’s profile, let us know and we will try to organize it for you.

On the mentor’s page, choose the type of private ballet class you’d like to take online, then pick a date and a free time slot and fill in your details. Leave a comment if you have questions or specific needs.

“After the payment is made the mentor gets notified and will confirm his/her availability or propose a new time. You will be notified via email. You will also have the option right after booking to add an apointment to your calendar that will remind you of the class.

The confirmation email will contain a zoom link, that you’ll use to access your class.

Note, that you need to have the Zoom desktop or mobile app installed to attend your online ballet class.”

When it’s time to start the class, please, use the link from your email to start the online meeting with your mentor via Zoom.

“You may cancel your online class up to 24 hours before the start of the class and will get a full refund. Just send us an email with the details to info@mysensei.me.

If you decide to cancel your class less than 24 hours before the start of the class, the cost of the class unfortunately cannot be refunded.
