Pedro Lapetra studied at Escuela Municipal de Danza de Zaragoza (Spain) from 1986 to1996 and from 1996 to 1999 Studied with Cristina Miñana private school; From 1997 to 2002 also studied in Bartholin International Ballet Seminar in Copenhagen (Denmark),learning the Bournonville technique and repertoire,and working with master teachers such as: Johnny Eliasen, Vivi Flindt, Robert Denvers, Nicolai Fadechev, Laura Alonso, Nicolaj Hubbe, Fleming Flindt, David Howard,among others.

In 2001 joined European Ballet as a Principal dancer to perform the lead role (Franz) in Coppelia touring all around Great Britain. In 2001-02 joined Norwegian National Ballet under Dinna Bjorn's artistic direction where he performed works by Jiri Kylian, Michael Corder, Paul Lightfoot, Michael Pink, George Balanchine…

In May 2003 joined English National Ballet and since then Pedro has performed soloist and lead roles in many productions such as Coppelia (Escorts),Cinderella, Rite of Spring(MacMillan), Scheherazade, Snow Queen, Swan Lake (Neapolitan dance), Nutcracker(Russian Dance,Spanish Dance), Romeo & Juliet (Mercutio), Sleeping Beauty (Bluebird), Alice in Wonderland (White Rabbit), Le Corsaire Pas Deux, Manon (Beggar Chief), Giselle (Peasant Pas Deux), Le Corsaire, Second Breath(by Russell Maliphant), Dust(by Akram Khan), Spring and Fall (by John Neumeier), Solo man in Pina Bausch’s Le sacre du printemps.

Pedro has performed in several Galas around the world dancing Don Quixote Pas Deux, Flower Festival in Genzano, Tchaikovsky Pas Deux, Muñecos Pas Deux, Flames of Paris Pas Deux, Le Corsaire Pas deux, Pas de Esclave, Carnaval of Venice Pas Deux, Le bourgeois solo, La Fille mal gardee Pas Deux, Coppelia Pas Deux.

He was awarded with 3rd Prize at Rieti International Ballet Competition in 2005.

He graduated from the Royal Ballet teachers course in 2018 where He got to teach at English National Ballet School, Royal Ballet school white lodge and upper school.

Since graduating He has been a guest teacher with Rambert Ballet school. He has also been a coach for English National Ballet’s Emerging dancer competition for the last 8 years including the last 5 winners.

Mysensei mentors are the world’s top coaches, ballet masters, teachers, and professional ballet dancers.

You can book any type of a dance class your mentor offers, e.g., ballet conditioning, ballet class, coaching, pilates. If you don’t see the type of a ballet class listed in your mentor’s profile, let us know and we will try to organize it for you.

On the mentor’s page, choose the type of private ballet class you’d like to take online, then pick a date and a free time slot and fill in your details. Leave a comment if you have questions or specific needs.

“After the payment is made the mentor gets notified and will confirm his/her availability or propose a new time. You will be notified via email. You will also have the option right after booking to add an apointment to your calendar that will remind you of the class.

The confirmation email will contain a zoom link, that you’ll use to access your class.

Note, that you need to have the Zoom desktop or mobile app installed to attend your online ballet class.”

When it’s time to start the class, please, use the link from your email to start the online meeting with your mentor via Zoom.

“You may cancel your online class up to 24 hours before the start of the class and will get a full refund. Just send us an email with the details to info@mysensei.me.

If you decide to cancel your class less than 24 hours before the start of the class, the cost of the class unfortunately cannot be refunded.

You may also reschedule your class if you give us at least 24 hours notice at no extra cost. Just send us an email with the details to info@mysensei.me.
