Vanessa Zahorian danced at the Kirov Ballet 1995/1996 sponsored by the Prince of Monaco as the first American recipient. Miss Zahorian became a Principal Dancer with San Francisco Ballet in 2003 and danced as a member of the San Francisco Ballet for 20 years from 1997-2017.

Miss Zahorian won Gold Medal at Erik Bruhn Competition 1999. Won Best Couple at the Jackson International Ballet Competition 2006. Performed with world-renowned choreographers and danced in galas and festivals around the world. Guest teaching all over the world. Miss Zahorian has danced all of the significant full-length classical ballets and danced contemporary works from world-renowned choreographers.

Vanessa was accepted into the George Balanchine Trust as a repetiteur 2012. She stages work by the George Balanchine Trust. She also coaches and teaches private ballet and pointe classes. Vanessa is a Certified GYROTONIC® teacher and certified GYROTONIC® for dancers teacher.

You can book any type of a dance class your mentor offers, e.g., ballet conditioning, ballet class, coaching, pilates. If you don’t see the type of a ballet class listed in your mentor’s profile, let us know and we will try to organize it for you.

On the mentor’s page, choose the type of private ballet class you’d like to take online, then pick a date and a free time slot and fill in your details. Leave a comment if you have questions or specific needs.

“After the payment is made the mentor gets notified and will confirm his/her availability or propose a new time. You will be notified via email. You will also have the option right after booking to add an apointment to your calendar that will remind you of the class.

The confirmation email will contain a zoom link, that you’ll use to access your class.

Note, that you need to have the Zoom desktop or mobile app installed to attend your online ballet class.”
